Boom BenchMusic is a real pleasure, but it is a great fun too. Not just music... the way of listening also can be amusing.

Now you can use not only your ears to listen to music, but your whole body. Just sit and enjoy! Feel all the subtleties of a melody, get shaken with basses! New A2DP-enabled Boom Bench throws down a challenge to the tinny sound of cellphones. A witty designer Michael Schoner of German NL Architects invented a street bench full of speakers: 60W co-axial speakers, two subwoofers, and Bass Shaker in the seat to overwhelm you with vibration. Just connect your player via Bluetooth to the wonder of a sound system, and you're a music king on the throne.

If you had happened to visit the Urban Play event 2 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, you are lucky guy to feel the music in a literal sense of the word. The first Boom Bench will be placed on the North bank of the River IJ, right in the physical center of Amsterdam.

It's a pity that not so many parks will be equipped with the gadget. 95 decibels is a dubious amusement, especially in a public place where many peaceful unhurried grannies are sauntering here and there.
