Softick Audio Gateway is the first audio streaming solution for Palm OS handhelds which allows to connect Palm OS handheld to the Bluetooth® stereo headphones and listen to digital audio played by any Palm OS applications including multimedia players, audio book readers, games. Let's see how to install it. Firstly, you need to download a newest version of Softick Audio Gateway. Then, uninstall the previous version of Audio Gateway, if any. The developer strongly recommends to perform next operations in described order, otherwise Softick Audio Gateway may work incorrectly:
1. You need to uninstall the previous version of Audio Gateway before new version installation is started. Please do the following: - Start Softick Audio Gateway and tap "Internal Speaker".
- Turn off “Enable extra program resources protection” and “Enable Treo 700p headset connection watchdog” options from Options->Troubleshooting menu.
- Exit to Launcher.
- Perform soft reset.
- Delete Audio Gateway application using Launcher App->Delete menu.
2. Remove your headset from Trusted devices list ("Prefs->Bluetooth->Setup Devices->Trusted Devices", select your headset, tap "Details" and "Delete Device"). 3. Perform soft reset. 4. In "Bluetooth->Setup Devices->Hands-free Setup" establish connection with your headset, pair your headset again. 5. It is REQUIRED to soft reset your Palm after step 4. 6. Install newest version of Softick Audio Gateway and start it. 7. Select your headset from devices list and tap "A2DP Device". Connection with your Bluetooth headset will be established. Now let's discuss the process of installation in more details. To install this software, unpack archive to any temporary folder. Enter this folder and double-click the mouse on the AudioGatewayEn120-Installer.prc. file. If option "Do not show this dialog again" previously haven't been chosen, a similar to this one window has to appear:

Following window will appear: 
Connect your handheld and PC, than tap the synchronization button. Soon both computers will report that synchronization is complete. Now the application is installed and ready to be used. Now we have to pair your Palm with your headset. In the beginning launch Prefs application (System category). Please note that the following screenshot was taken on Palm Treo 650 and may vary from device to device. | Choose Bluetooth.

| Trusted Devices form shows the list of currently paired Bluetooth devices. You need to put your Bluetooth headset into the discoverable mode (if you don't know how - read headset's User manual) and tap Add Device |
| Select you device from the list and tap OK. If your device cannot be discovered, check whether you put it properly into discoverable mode. Usually headphones blinks red and blue LED in this mode.
|  | During connection to your headset you may be asked for PIN code (passkey). Usually it is '0000', but please refer to your headset/headphone User manual for details. | Now the pairing is complete. It is obligatory to reboot your handheld before launching Softick Audio Gateway.
| During the first launch a device setup wizard will appear. If you have already paired your A2DP device, press the Skip button. If you want to set it up, press the Start Pairing button to exit Audio Gateway and launch Palm OS Bluetooth pairing wizard.

| Select your device from the list and press A2DP Device button to establish connection to A2DP headset or headphones, and redirect sound stream to it. If you want to stop such redirection and disconnect from headphones, tap Internal Speaker, and sound will be routed to internal speaker or wired headset. |
